Abstract

Given the increasing life expectancy, this pathology is increasingly common in elderly patients. The course of oncological diseases and their treatment in elderly patients have some features. In light of the problems of old age and the presence of a wide range of comorbidities, the main characteristics of the tumor are considered, as well as the main methods of treating breast cancer, such as surgery, postoperative radiation therapy, adjuvant chemotherapy and hormone therapy.
