Aseptic necrosis of the femoral head is a multifactorial disease characterized by the occurrence of collapse of the femoral head with progressive development of severe secondary coxarthrosis. Clinically, the disease is manifested by progressive soreness and limitation of the volume of movements, a symptom of Trendelenburg, crepitation and instability of the femoral head. Treatment includes surgical interventions and correction of cyto activity. There is evidence of the ability of bisphosphonates to prevent the collapse of the femoral head.
