Abstract

Respiratory diseases, despite the achieved successes, according to official statistics, occupy leading positions in the structure of childhood morbidity [1, 2]. Anatomical and physiological features of the respiratory organs and immunological memory deficiency in children of early and preschool age determine a high incidence of respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia. In the 2022-2023 period, the number of cases of community-acquired pneumonia (EAP) is increasing, mainly at preschool age [3].
