This article characterizes the stage that is based on metalinguistic statements native speakers (schoolchildren) and determine the specifics of everyday interpretation of the lexeme happiness. To identify the principles of naive lexicography on the basis of the definition of one lexeme, while characterizing the features cognitive features of the concept of happiness and realization in the studied statements of all levels of the structure of the concept.
