Abstract

This is the literature review devoted to modern trends of diagnostics and treatment of iron deficiency anemia in children. Forms of iron deficiency, the etiology of iron deficiency and laboratory diagnostics standards, the modern view on the selection of iron supplementation for the treatment of children with iron deficiency anemia are presented.
