THEORETICAL PREREQUISITES FOR THE FORMATION OF ANTHROPONYMY IN LINGUISTICS, THE PLACE AND SPECIFICITY OF NICKNAMES IN THE SYSTEM OF NOMINATIVE MEANS OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to determine the specifics of nicknames in the system of nominative means of English languages. Along with this, an important aspect of the study is the analysis and interpretation of the nominative potential of group and personal nicknames as nominative means of language based on the study of materials of English languages. The article consists in clarifying and determining the place and role of nicknames in the vocabulary of different structural languages as a whole. Along with this, the main theoretical conclusions can become the basis for further research of nicknames of the Uzbek language in comparison with other related and unrelated languages. The scientific and theoretical provisions of this study can form the basis of new scientific research in the field of vocabulary, lexicology, phraseology, onomastics, anthroponymy, as well as the linguistic theory of proper names.
