Abstract

Postmodernism is a literary movement that emerged in the mid-20th century as a response to the modernist movement. While modernism focused on themes of alienation and fragmentation, postmodernism rejected the idea of a single narrative or truth and embraced ideas of multiplicity and ambiguity.
