Abstract

This article aims at identifying the specific features of naming animals in different names in English. The analysis of zoonyms in English is a little-studied topic that is relevant today, especially in the part of the dictionary, which includes the nicknames of fairy-tale animals and their English equivalents. The following methods were used in work: search, comparison, collection and analysis of information.
