DYNAMICS OF HORMONAL ACTIVITY OF ADIPOSE TISSUE AND INSULIN RESISTANCE IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES AND OBESITY WHEN USED INCRETINOMIMETICS

Abstract

As a result of a clinical study, it was proved that the use of metformin in combination with sitagliptin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity contributes to the compensation of carbohydrate metabolism along with a decrease in body weight, a change in the secretion of adipose tissue hormones, an increase in the functional activity of pancreatic β-cells and decrease in insulin resistance.
