SCALES FOR ASSESSING THE SEVERITY AND PREDICTING THE OUTCOME OF CRANIOCEREBRAL INJURIES
Abstract
The article provides a brief review of more than 30 scales for objective assessment of the severity of injuries of severe trauma based on an analysis of Russian and foreign literature. The purpose of the work, based on a literature review, is to highlight the state of objective assessment of the severity of injuries in trauma, the need and possibility of using diagnostic scales for patients with severe combined traumatic brain injury at the hospital stage. Results. The analysis showed that detailed multi-page descriptions of various diagnostic scales have been published in Russia and abroad , and detailed statistical studies of their comparative and prognostic value have been carried out. Conclusions. Based on the study, the authors recommend some diagnostic scales for use in a trauma hospital.
