GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SPINAL CORD TUMORS IN ADULTS
Abstract
This article presents a general feature of spinal cord tumors in adults based on its statistical analysis and literature data. Most often, spinal tumors are observed in socially active group of people aged 30 50 years with prevalence of extramedullary tumors , which determines the greater urgency of this problem. It is noted that the radicality of surgical treatment of spinal tumors depends not only on the localization and size of the tumor and its histological structure that determines the outcome of the disease.
